The star duo Luka Donnteic and LeBron James combined again while the Lakers extended their sequence of victories at eight games by beating the New York Knicks 113-109 in overtime.
The recent signing Donnteic scored 32 points while the top scorer of all time in NBA James added 31 while the Lakers came from 10 points to the fourth quarter to win.
Dononic, which also collected 12 assists and eight rebounds, scored five points in overtime when the Lakers improved at 9-2 since he made his debut last month.
The Lakers, who are at the top of the Pacific of the Western Conference, are now starting a four -game road trip against the current NBA champions, the Boston Celtics on Saturday.

Steph Curry again played with another basket near the halfway line while the Golden State Warriors beat the Brooklyn Nets 121-119.
Curry was 38 feet from the basket with 0.3 seconds to play in the first half when he turned and scored, on the way for a transport of 40 points.
“Most people can do this shot fortunately,” said teammate Draymond Green. “We all knew that this cliché was entering it. This is a different thing. It’s like watching the Cirque du Soleil or something.”
“This one is not in the routine of practice,” said Curry.
“It surprised me, however. That’s why I just run in the locker room.”
