With the players constantly in and out of the programming, the Clippers find it difficult to find a constant success at this stage of the season.

The return of Kawhi Leonard (right knee management) and Derrick Jones Jr. (strain of the right groin) coupled with the absence of Norman Powell (strain of the right ischi-legs) and Ben Simmons (left knee management) on Friday evening underlined the scope of the problem.

But the Clippers were able to count on one thing all season – the high level of play by James Harden.

Two nights after scoring 50 points, Harden made another show, finishing with 27 points and seven assists in a 105-95 victory against the New York Knicks in Intuit Dome.

Harden was not alone to lead the victory. Leonard collected 20 points, seven rebounds and six assists in 37 minutes, and Ivica Zubac finished with 16 points and 14 rebounds. The out -of -competition center has a record of 763 career rebounds this season.

Nicolas Batum, from his fourth match, collected a 17 -point summit, and Bogdan Bogdanovic succeeded in 12 career rebounds on the bench.

Jalen Brunson did not play for New York (40-23) due to a sprain with a right ankle. The goalkeeper of the stars, injured during the defeat in extension of Thursday evening against the Lakers, is seventh in the NBA by scoring (26.3 points per game) and seventh in assists (7.4).

The Clippers (34-29) have won two consecutive since their drop of six in seven. They are eighth from the West Conference with 19 games to do.

“Take it day by day,” said Clippers coach Tyronn read before the match. “Our shots, our walks and enjoying them, even if the guys cannot go a lot of time. But, as I said, we are late, and I think the guys do the right thing trying to come back, trying to get on the field, but also to put the work trying to understand and learn what we have to do and get better. “”

The Clippers face a critical game section. They welcome Sacramento on Sunday, with the Kings at just half a game behind them, before playing New Orleans, Miami and Atlanta on the road.
