Nashville Predators vs Seattle Kraken: live game thread

The predators of Nashville (22-32-7, 51 points) welcome the Seattle Kraken (26, 32-4, 56 points) Thursday in Bridgestone Arena.

The Predators won a 6-3 victory against Boston Bruins on Tuesday, fueled by three-point performances by Ryan O’Reilly (2 goals, 1 assist) and Steven Stamkos (1 goal, 2 assists).

Since Tuesday’s victory, the Director General of Predators, Barry Trotz, has exchanged striker Tommy Novak and defender Luke Schenn at Pittsburgh Penguins in exchange for Michael Bunting and a choice of fourth round in 2026. Bunting remains on IR after having undergone an appendix last week will not be in the next week.

The Kraken also made an exchange on Wednesday, sending Oliver Bjorkstrand and Yanni Gourde, defender Kyle Aucoin and a fifth round choice in the NHL recovery in 2026 at the Tampa Bay Lightning in exchange for Michael Eysimont, a second round choice in the conditional recovery of the LNH 2025, a conditional choice in the first round in the first round in the first round 2026 and a conditional prerequisite first in conditional draft.

Nashville and Seattle are both in seventh place in their respective divisions and are currently outside the photo of the western conference qualifiers.

The predators claimed the striker Jakub True (Washington Capitals) and defender Jordan Oesterle (Boston Bruins) of derogation Thursday afternoon, but none have adapted against the Kraken.

First period (NSH 1, sea 1)

The Kraken began with a strong change of offensive zone and was rewarded with the opening goal just 32 seconds from the match. Adam Larsson derived in the slit and finished a rebound in a Vince Dunn shot to give Seattle an advance of 1-0 at the beginning.

After abandoning the first goal, however, predators were everywhere in Kraken in their area. Nashville finally capitalized on a turnover of Dunn, and Filip Forsberg ridiculed a shot before Joey Daccord to do it 1-1 at 7:15.

Nashville had the advantage of 15-7 at the end of the first period.

Second period (NSH 2, sea 1)

The Predators took their first advance of the match at 3:33 of the second, when Brady Skjei beat Dacord with a high slot shot to do it 2-1.

Forsberg followed with his second of the night just over two minutes later, when his centering pass was placed by a Seattle defender to extend the Nashville advance at 3-1.
