It’s a silly season.

The Red Wings of Detroit find themselves in the middle of chaos. This chaos is the day before the deadline for trade.

With Thursday evening’s match against the Utah hockey club, the Red Wings will have their first overview of Carter Mazur in the big leagues. The young striker has torn him off for the Grand Rapids griffins and will seek to bring his skills to help the Red Wings get out of their funk.

In addition to yesterday’s call, the Red Wings also put Christian Fischer on derogations to assign him to the AHL. It seems that things do not go as planned on this front.

Eliot Friedman reported on X that the Blue Jackets Columbus had claimed the robust striker from derogations.

It is a blow for the Red Wings because they were (obviously) hoping to keep it in the organization. However, it is the nature of the business. Sometimes you take a risk and nothing happens. Other times you take a little risk and pay it.

Fischer is now part of his third team in three years. The 27 -year -old man was drafted by the Arizona Coyotes 32nd in total during the draft of the NHL 2015.

He signed a one-year contract with the Red Wings on July 2, 2023. That year, Fischer played 79 games, collected 19 points and played 11:24 per match. This year did not go as someone expected it. He played 45 games but has only seven points to his credit. He also saw his fierce diving at 11:09 am per game.

No matter where things tended to fischer, he will have the opportunity with a new organization to bring all his talents to help his team.
